Nymphaea “Augustus McCray“ Hardy from zone 4-11. Plant Size: Medium-Large. Origin TexasWaterLilies 2009, flower pale orangey yellow, 4“- 10“ across and usually stands above waters surface. Has a 4'-6' spread. Leaves are green with reddish mottling. Will grow in 1' to 3' of water. Best to grow in 1.5'- 2' of water. You can use a 2 to 5 gallon container for this one. Will grow and spread well in an earthen pond. This is another new one from Texaswaterlilies. We named this one after our son August McCray. Our youngest son “Gus” is named after the great Augustus McCrae from Lonesome Dove. Excellent bloomer. Full sun
